Walnut cake

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 30 grams dried longans
  • 30 grams walnuts
  • Unsalted butter, for greasing pan

Walnut cake

Serves: 6

Directions:
  1. Separate the egg whites from the yolks; in a large bowl, beat the white egg, add in sugar in the middle of beating. Beat the mixture until stiff peaks form.
  2. Pour over egg yolk into beaten white egg, and then add the cake flour. Gently fold the batter into the egg whites.
  3. Coated the pan with unsalted butter, preheat pan over low heat. When the pan is hot, pour over the batter from step 2 to pan, sprinkle dried longan and walnut on the batter. Put the lid on, and bake for 8 to 12 minutes.

 

Tips:
Baking time can be vary due to the stove temperature and function.
