Sambal Kangkong

INGREDIENTS

  • 450g kangkong (water spinach)
  • 1 tablespoon shrimp paste (made with finely chopped dried shrimp)
  • 10g chilies
  • Oil
  • 1 tablespoon sambal sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Sambal Kangkong

Serves: 4

Directions:

  1. Wash and drain kangkong, and cut into strips.
  2. In a wok, pour in oil and then heat over with medium high heat, add sambal sauce and fry until fragrant. Add in shrimp paste, kangkong, sugar, soy sauce, and chilies. Fry with medium heat and serve immediately.
