Chicken & Veggie Congee

Ingredients

  • 1 small Chicken Drumstick
  • 1 handful Rice
  • 2 slices Ginger
  • 1/4 medium Carrot
  • 1/3 medium Potato
  • Sesame Oil
  • Spring Onions

Chicken & Veggie Congee

Directions:
  1. Put the drumstick into the hot boil water and wait for the meat tender
  2. Then take the chicken out and place it into a bowl of cool water and shredded it
  3. Pour the rice into the pot and add 1 teaspoon of cooking oil
  4. Add shredded chicken, potatoes, ginger, carrots, pepper, and sesame oil
  5. Cook about 8 minutes or until boiling and wait for the water to reduce
  6. Remove the ginger slice from the congee once ready
  7. Pour the congee into Thermos Food Jar and slow cook 1-2 hours, and serve.
